LGA Kiwanis Sends 22 Kids to Kamp Kiwanis
Kamp Kiwanis is aimed at providing fun, physical exercise and adventure. It strives to afford opportunities to participate in a creative outdoor group experience in a democratic setting and develop characteristics of leadership and fair play.
The fundraising efforts of the LaGuardia Kiwanis Club allows us to sponsor 22 underserved community-based kids to a full week of camping.
The Kamp is located six miles north of Rome, N.Y., on 102 acres of open and wooded land in the rolling western foothills of the Adirondack Mountains.
